"It was my 1st Nin show, I traveled from Colombia just to finally see them live! I've been a fan for 20+ years, couldn't believe my eyes. Got a couple shirts, met a couple super friendly dudes who couldn't believe my adventure just to be there. It was a life dream come true."

"I’m an Ecuadorian, living in Uruguay, who traveled all the way to Philly to tick a box in his checklist by singing with my favorite band with his best friend. It was great going through my teen years as Head like a hole, Closer and Reptile were being played. I owed this to myself for so long, that I just couldn’t believe I was there! However, it wasn’t until Trent looked into my eyes that I realized it was actually happening. I knew I had to try to forget about my cell phone and enjoy the music as if I was in high school again. In the end, when Hurt was played, I managed to film a bit of the song. After watching the video, I realized it had a glitch, the most NIN moment in my life!"

“I was lucky enough to see NIN three times on this tour, and I would have seen them a million times if I could. NIN has been there for me since I was a preteen, and my love and appreciation for them has only grown stronger over the years. This time around, I saw them twice (Philly and Boston) with my best friend and then took my husband to the Newark show for Valentine’s Day. It’s unbelievable. Highlights for me were Reptile (always), Somewhat Damaged and Ruiner on piano, March of the Pigs, Burn, Sin, Parasite, and that Closer remix that’s soooo good. NIN has been a lifeline for me in so many ways for so many reasons. I will never take these shows for granted, and I hope I get to see them again.”

“NIN has been my favorite band since I was 13 years old. I was finally able to see them live in 1994 and I’ve been to at least one show on every tour since then. I’ve truly loved every show I’ve been to because this band feels home; but Peel It Back brought everything about them live to an amazing next level. The energy , emotion and artistry took me on a journey each time. The visuals during 'Copy Of A' were perfection and I loved how new life was breathed into 'Closer' with Boyz Noize. Peel It Back moves right to the top of some of the best live shows I’ve EVER seen. Trent’s high levels of creativity and innovation are on full display. I’m so grateful I was able to be a part of that experience.”

“Philly was my first NIN show. I live in a Philly suburb, so it was close, but NIN is my second favorite band, behind Red Hot Chili Peppers, so come hell or highwater, I was going to the Philly show. And when Peel It Back 2026 was announced and a Newark, NJ show was included, I got in touch with my best friend, who I saw the Philly show with, and we bought NJ tickets too! NJ was a 1.5 hour drive one-way for me. So worth it, obviously.

First NIN song I’d ever heard, like many folks, was Closer. I’m 36 years old, so I’ve known of NIN for probably about 20 years. I got very heavy into NIN maybe 2018 to 2020 latest. 2020 I spent a lot of time going for runs and pumped NIN almost every run. Possibly my favorite NIN song full-stop is Me, I’m Not. The Wretched is really high up. Came Back Haunted. Copy Of A, also really close to the top for me. Reptile as well. I honestly like the heavy and dark stuff the very best, but I haven’t heard any NIN song I can’t bop along to and just close my eyes and feel the music in my soul. I listen and I just feel it. And I’m a happy person who loves life and my own life, but a small part of me needs the darkness that Trent brings to life. Some fragile part of my childhood. I had a great childhood, but like any kid growing up there were dark times. Trent’s music gives me a sense of oneness, including the anger. Have to get that out too!

Favorite live song at the two Peel It Back shows I saw… the setlists were very close, slightly different between the two shows, but I will say single favorite song overall from both shows I saw was Vessel. Incredibly atmospheric. Boys Noize was an awesome complement to the whole production on Vessel. And the lighting and fog was awesome. It was like white and red lightning strikes. And the fog lit up beautifully. Phenomenal effects. And I loved the camerawork as well. It was so cool to watch Trent go between the two microphones on the song, the one to give him this synthy effect in his voice. Super cool and atmospheric song. Plus when the lights of the cube come down on the band during the intro to the song, since they used Vessel as the first song coming back to the cube. Man it’s cool! Hair stands up on the back of your neck kind of cool! My only regret is not being general admission! Would love to be within a few rows of the band for the cube songs in particular!

I got a Peel It Back 2025 tour shirt, with NIN in red on the front and the cities/dates on the back. There are some lyrics on the back of the shirt too but I can’t remember offhand, it’s in my dresser drawer lol! That was from the Philly show. I wanted to get the Copy Of A lyric shirt that they had on sale in Newark but by the time my friend and I finally got into the venue (super long lines to get in) it was 815PM and the merch line had to have had at least 150 people in it and getting bigger. We would’ve been in line probably for an hour, easy. So I passed. Would’ve loved that shirt though!

Thank you for doing this too! This is an awesome project. Thank you for allowing myself, and others, space to talk about our love of NIN and this phenomenal tour."

"It was my first NIN show and it lived up to everything everybody was saying it would be. I first got into NIN when I was around 12. I watched The Crow with my dad and loved their cover of Dead Souls. That shifted into finding them perform it live on Youtube at Woodstock in 94. I then listened to Pretty Hate Machine and resonated with a few songs I’d play on repeat. Flash forward, a few months before I turned 23, the Woodstock 94 performance turned 30 and I saw a clip of it on Instagram. I remembered listening to NIN really young so I dove back in and am never coming out. The music makes me feel really seen as I live through my early twenties, something incredibly scary in these times. I traveled from about an hour and a half away to get to Philly which I’ve done many times as a PA native. Although I was up pretty high, I really appreciated how far reaching the production felt for everyone in the venue. The visuals. The sound. The small snippet of Somewhat Damaged at the opening of the show was something I needed to hear the way that I did. I went with my boyfriend who isn’t my boyfriend anymore because he proposed in the parking lot after the show and he is now my fiancé. I will never forget that night ever. (:"

"I heard Nine Inch Nails song for the first time in middle school. I went to a Catholic school, and we would put on an annual Passion Play in celebration of Palm Sunday. The song, 'The Great Below', would play during the scene where Judas took his own life. Even as someone who was not into rock or heavy music in general at the time, I found the sound so intriguing. It wasn’t until I was a junior in college that I would start exploring their discography. I was taken my the diversity in sound and the influence they’ve had on many other artists. This was my first NIN concert ever (my third one of the year after seeing Deftones and Spiritbox), and I bought a T-shirt with these lyrics from Reptile: 'I now know the depths I reach are limitless'. The production value and sound quality were excellent, and I love how they incorporated Boys Noize in the set. Hearing the show open with Right Where It Belongs with Reznor on the piano was stunning. I was also excited to hear the live versions of Closer and Less Than."
