Stories

“I was 12 years old when I first saw NIN slink onto the stage at Woodstock ‘94. 'Down in It' put my brain in a pretzel. As an impressionable kid watching MTV in my parents’ basement, the performance was both unsettling and magnetic at the same time. The rest is history. Pure catharsis.”

“I have been a fan since 1990, when a friend popped Pretty Hate Machine into a tape player and said 'you need to check this out.' I've seen NIN at least 20 times live since. I've both aged and matured (those are two different things, of course) but I like to think I've stayed true to myself. And NIN has evolved as well, while continuing to be honest and no bullshit. Attending Peel It Back was an amazing experience both shows. I really appreciated the variety within the show, the emotion, and also the unique design with the multiple stages and the light show and camera work.

One of the coolest things about this tour was that there were almost no bad seats. If you were in the nose bleed section, you saw an amazing light show and saw the band through the fantastic camera work. If you were lower, you had a pretty good view of at least one of the stages. And if you were in the pit, well, lucky you!"
