Stories

“As long as I can remember I've loved NIN, I'm autistic and it is one of my two hyperfixations. I waited my whole life to be able to see them live, I've gotten close so many times but had to cancel, last year I finally got to see them with my mom. It was a life altering night, and it was truly beautiful seeing so many people come together to see the same NIN I know and love. My mom is just as big of a fan as I am, she has a tattoo of her favorite lyrics. We have an inside joke where we change up the lyrics in wish, and being able to hear that song live and do our little twist has brought me joy like nothing else. I can't wait to see them again, and have even more fun than I did last time.”

"I was able to hit 4 dates of the PIB shows, and while my bank account definitely took a hit - I have no regrets! From pit to 300 level, I was able to see the show from all different angles and there wasn’t a bad spot to be as far as I’m concerned. It genuinely felt like NIN took this into consideration when planning the show to make sure everyone got the full experience. My favorite memory of this tour is that I snapped a photo of myself and who I went with at each show during head like a hole. That insane bright white light made for great selfies and way to remember the tour! Second favorite memory is I was able to go to Raleigh and New Orleans with my childhood best friend and introduce her to NIN. She’s now a fan and says that hands down, they were some of the best shows she’s ever been to! Long live NIN! 🖤"

"I attended Chicago nights 1 & 2. Went solo in the pit for night one, in a seat/lower bowl for night 2. As a 30+ year listener/fan, both nights were special to me! Right on the rail at B stage in the pit, met some of the coolest people, had the time of my life. Pure euphoria. Went with friends for night 2 in seats, was awesome to show them exactly why I'm so loyal to this band! Fell in love with NIN back in the 90's with Pretty Hate Machine, the rest was history. NIN has been there to get me through the hardest & most painful times in my life. Pain/emotional struggle in life is inevitable, and Trent's lyrics helped me realize that it's ok to sit with it. 'The only way out is through.' 🤷‍♀️ The Peel It Back Tour came at the end of a very long/violent summer with my 11 year old autistic boy, so the emotions were raw, and it was a much needed release for me. Lots of tears during 'Every Day is Exactly the Same,' especially. I could go on and on, but I won't. Can't wait to see them at Milwaukee on 2/23!"
