Stories

“I have been a fan for many moons. I have followed tours sleeping out of cars with friends, attended the induction to the RRHOF (thanks Kraw 💛). I have been a collector of all things NIN but more importantly a heavy collector of memories all based around the music. NIN has brought me so more than just that. At this points it’s really become the bonus. I have met my best friends, had some of my most adventurous travels, I have had the greatest and hardest moments along side the music of NIN. 'A warm place' Played in the speakers at my best friends funeral in 2012 and I hope it plays at mine as well. The romance NIN has brought to my life is unexplainable but as Robin once said 'It's a tenuous operation of unfathomable nuance' and seemingly never ending. It’s always there to hold on to even when everything else is out of reach. Sometimes I wonder if they know just how much of an effect they have. Sorry to drag out and thanks for the opportunity but it’s hard for me to simplify something so meaningful. I could carry on for days but as far as songs go on this tour. I’m hoping to hear Non Entity. Very suiting for the times. In a numb world NIN helps me feel. ('While I’m still here', 'A warm place', 'We’re in this together', 'Ruiner'- again would be great too ;)”

"Before the show, I had drinks with my friend and my uncle in the parking lot. I offered them edibles but they weren’t down for that. I transformed into Jesus and we hung around the forum killing time and getting my picture taken before the reckoning. Once showtime was upon us we found our seats but some guy with a female acquaintance claimed they had my seat, and Reznor had just started playing piano. I gave them my seat and traipsed around the venue to find some available area to enjoy the show. I ended up on the stairs of absolute-nosebleed dead-center, and the edibles were right on queue. My entire field of vision had a curtain-like quality to it as if grabbing air would put limitless vertical creases and folds running through everything I saw with no exceptions for depth, distance nor the third dimension. The curtain billowed and i saw a sliver of what was behind it, and the opportunity to draw back -to peel back- the curtain became omnipresent as NIN whisked me through intangible atmospheres one frequency at a time; an evangelical experience. T’was fun! :)"

"Seeing Nine Inch Nails live felt like an imagination come alive, by far the best concert i’ve ever attended. Down to the stage production, lighting design, ambience, the set list, the bands energy, this was the best live production i’ve been lucky enough to attend. Especially as a relatively younger listener in their demographic, seeing them live was something I didn’t imagine could happen for me so the fact I could go was like a dream come true for me. NIN is one of those bands that defined genres and carved their own brand onto music we hear years later, it’s impossible to ignore their influence and imprint they’ve left on rock and the world of music beyond, i’m only so grateful I could grow up listening to them and later in life grow an even deeper love to their sound. I could go on about how much NIN means to me, but I realize we all as fans each have beautiful and unique ties to this iconic band and their legacy and I believe the way their music connects us all is really the most beautiful thing."

"Nine Inch Nails has always been a name in my house, but it wasn’t until I was 14 I got into them on my own. I was 18 when I first saw them live, and I think they changed my life. I’ve always felt a special connection to this band and seeing them live with my family completely changed a certain part of my brain. It was during Copy Of A, that it hit me that I was seeing the band that I have related so deeply to the last 4 years of my life. Hearing the words from a man that I did not have the strength to say on my own. I will never forget hearing Hurt, crying and singing with my family. I am forever grateful for Trent and this band for creating the score for some of the most important moments of my life and I will certainly never forget the feeling of hearing it live."

"This tour was a full circle moment in my personal life. NIN has been my favorite artist/band ever since their music reached my ears, which was 32 years ago. I have seen NIN live multiple times through the years including but not limited to as an older teen, as a newlywed and while I was pregnant with my 1st child. This particular tour was extra special because my husband and I brought our teen kids along with us on the Peel it Back tour in 2025 as well as 2026. I have no words to describe the feeling of being able to scream along the lyrics that helped me through all those awkward moments as a teenager with my own teenage children. The back and forth energy between the main stage and the audience along with the visuals is something I will never forget. This tour was a bonding experience as a family and was healing for my soul. Definitely a moment that I will forever treasure."
