"I was lucky enough to catch Nine Inch Nails twice during the Peel It Back tour, first in Milan, then in Lisbon. Unlike most shows on this tour, these were stripped of the dual-stage setup and projections, but the raw energy more than made up for it. Instead of the intimate piano openings, both nights exploded with Somewhat Damaged, setting a relentless tone for the entire set. Hearing Mr. Self Destruct and The Big Come Down live was electrifying, and it’s astonishing how Trent still delivers these songs with the same visceral emotion as if they were brand new. Traveling from Spain to both shows meant reuniting with old friends, but the real magic was the collective buzz, swapping stories with strangers, feeling that shared intensity in the crowd. The music and the people made these nights unforgettable."
