Stories

“I've known about NIN since 2000s but never got into them until Feb 2022, when the war started in my country. Their music has been keeping me sane ever since. At that point I didn't even hope to see them live, but miraculously got the chance in 2025 (22 hours by bus and another 36 hours to get home after). Trent at the piano, the first notes of my first NIN show got me sobbing so hard I thought I'd suffocate. I cried half the show, I yelled my head off the other half. It was cathartic beyond description, and I never thought I'd suddenly bawl during the end of TPD and continue to bawl and jump and headbang during HLAH. At home, I couldn't scream to let myself go, I got so numb I didn't think I could feel again. NIN cracked me open and let me feel again. I had a list of songs I wanted to hear live, and got 70% of that list on my 2 shows! Tried both seating and pit to have a different experience, and this show really has no wrong seating, wherever you are you can see so much going on from every side. The lighting, the sound, the projections, it's wild, mindblowing, overwhelming to the level of shellshocked! I also got really lucky and Trent signed my phone case, so it's a perfect gift from a perfect concert experience. These guys saved my life. I hope I get to experience this once more some day.”

"I'll always travel to catch the beginning of a NIN tour. Plus, it was helpful to add Ireland (and two other countries & US cities) to my NINTOURHISTORY. I've been a fan since 1989, but didn't catch the band live until 1991. Again, this band melted my face at each performance!"

"2025 was a very rough year for me mentally and the Vienna show (my first NIN concert and the first they played in Austria in many years) was one of the few highlights.

During the show Trent talked to the crowd, thanking us for being here, mentioning his ongoing struggle with mental health, how on some days anxiety and depression overwhelmingly closes in on him, and 'that today is actually one of those days', but also that it feels good to be out here despite it, and make a connection.

It's one thing to know that someone you look up to has similar mental health issues as you, it's another to hear it from them in person. idk that just really means a lot to me, having myself struggled with a huge amount of anxiety that day, afraid that I won't even make it to the show.
but we both made it, and I'm 100% certain that many others in that crowd had something similar going on. so yeah, it feels good to make a connection. <3

ps: shoutout to all the fellow autistic NIN fans, shoutout to parents that got to bond with their kids, shoutout to all the friends that got to cry together during Hurt, and shoutout to everyone who screamed along to Closer and Vessel as if their parents arent right next to them lmao"

"This was my first nin concert ever. The weather got crazy that day and everyone waiting in the queue got soaking wet because it started pouring. I had an outfit inspired by Trent in the wish music video but because of the rain I had to change, I remember the next day after the concert my shoes were still wet. Also I filmed a video where I was hitting the griddy and it actually blew up although I didn’t expect it to. This was the best day in my life"
